We’re sometimes asked why our DNA paternity tests aren’t $89 like some of the other companies you might find on the internet. The answer is simple: quality, reliability, and support. We prioritise DNA test accuracy and maintain strict privacy standards.

Why DNA Test Prices Vary

Many of these cheaper companies use non-accredited, distant overseas laboratories. That can mean:

• longer wait times for results (if you get them at all),
• no dedicated customer service to explain your results,
• no protection under New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 or Health Information Privacy Code 2020, and
• fewer DNA markers tested, making their results less reliable.

All test kits are discreetly packaged and delivered NZ-wide. Results are sent by email within 5 business days of all samples being received in the lab (or within 2 business days with Express Testing).
